Blisstopia Retreats Meal Plan Service

We believe that food is a gentle but powerful part of your healing journey. Our Ayurvedic-inspired retreat meals are thoughtfully curated to match the theme and energy of your retreat, using the Chakras and other intuitive methods to support mind, body, and spirit.

To keep your group’s experience peaceful and connected, our experienced staff prepares most meals in the Casita kitchen, away from your gathering spaces, and then delivers everything with warmth and care so you can stay fully present with your guests.

At Blisstopia Retreats, every meal is designed to feel like an extension of the healing work you’re doing on the mat and in circle—nourishing, grounding, and deeply satisfying. Our Ayurvedic‑inspired menus are built around fresh, organic, often gluten‑free ingredients and plenty of colorful plants, with the option to include high‑quality chicken, beef, or fish for added protein and balance.

A typical retreat day might begin with a vibrant breakfast of steel‑cut oatmeal with berries, yogurt and house granola, or avocado toast layered with sprouts and seasonal vegetables. Midday, guests enjoy energizing lunches like quinoa and black bean buddha bowls, a hearty chicken salad over lettuce, jerk‑spiced cauliflower tacos, or refreshing soba noodle salads loaded with crisp veggies. Evenings feature comforting, chef‑crafted dinners—such as Persian beef kabobs, with jasmine rice & steamed veggies, tomato‑braised chicken with spaghetti squash, lemon‑Dijon salmon with roasted roots and greens, or hearty stuffed portobello mushrooms—paired with simple sides like massaged kale salads, steamed vegetables, quinoa, or lentils.

Our retreat meals are intentionally abundant and well‑balanced, so most guests find they feel pleasantly satisfied between lunch and dinner without needing additional snacks. When appropriate, simple options such as fresh fruit or a small selection of nuts may be offered during the daytime to support steady energy and comfort. Dessert stays light and mindful, with options like baked cinnamon apples or a square of rich dark chocolate, and our culinary team can tailor menus to most dietary needs and preferences so you can relax, feel cared for, and fully immerse yourself in the retreat experience.

🔔 Guest Guidelines

Please share the following with your entire group prior to or upon arrival:

Kitchen Access & Preparation

1. Kitchen Clearance — 30 Minutes Before Every Meal The kitchen area — including the refrigerator, center island, sinks, and all counter space — must be fully cleared and available to staff beginning 30 minutes before the scheduled meal time, and for 15 minutes following the 1-hour meal window. This is non-negotiable and essential for timely meal service.

2. Kitchen Sink Is for Food Prep Only - The kitchen sink is not for handwashing. Please direct all guests to use the two lower-level bathrooms or the bathroom attached to their room for personal hygiene.

Meal Service & Timing

3. Meals Are Served at Scheduled Times — Promptness Is Required All meals will be ready at the exact time listed in your itinerary. We will ring the bell to announce each meal. Please have all guests gathered and ready at that time. Respecting meal timing respects our staff's time and the integrity of the food.

4. We Announce Each Meal At lunch and dinner, staff will announce the meal — what was prepared, how it was made, and which items are designated for guests with dietary restrictions. Please ensure guests listen for this.

5. Portions Are Generous — But Not Unlimited or (ALL U CAN EAT) We prepare a healthy, generous portion for every guest based on your final headcount. Meals are not all-you-can-eat buffets.

Example: If there are 10 guests and 10–12 servings of a dish are plated, and the first 2 guests each take 3 servings — the last guests receive nothing. Please remind your group to be mindful and considerate of one another.

If food remains after everyone has been served, guests are welcome to return for seconds.

6. Dietary-Restricted Portions Are Reserved Meals prepared specifically for vegetarian, vegan, or allergy-restricted guests are designated for those individuals only. No other guests should take food marked or announced as restricted portions.

Dishes, Glassware & Cleanliness

7. Manage Your Own Extra Dishes Staff clears meal service items. However, guests who use multiple cups or glasses throughout the day are responsible for cleaning those items themselves. Please do not allow dishes or cups to stack up in or around the sink between meals.

Tip: We highly recommend guests label their cups and glasses with their name, rinse after each use, and place used tea bags in the garbage — not the sink.

Garbage & Trash

8. Garbage Protocol — Please Follow This Carefully

  • Kitchen garbage is maintained by staff during mealtimes.
  • Room and bathroom garbage must be brought to the two bins located inside the garage.
  • Do not bring room or bathroom trash to the kitchen garbage bins.
  • If you fill the garbage cans in the kitchen in between meals - please empty these into the garage bins labeled for garbage.

Towels & Linens

9. Pool & Hot Tub Towels Additional towels for the pool and hot tub are located in the lower-level bathroom off the Family/TV room. Personal room towels should not be taken outside.

If you need fresh pool/hot tub towels, guests are responsible for laundering them using either of the on-site laundry rooms – laundry detergent is NOT provided.
